Vectors in Spherical Coordinates

Can any one prove that if spherical coordinates are (r,$ \theta $,$ \phi $) and corresponding unit vectors are $ a_r,a_{\theta} $ and $ a_{\phi} $, then prove that

$$a_x . a_{\theta} =\cos(\theta)*\cos(\phi) $$

and

$$a_y . a_{\theta} =\cos(\theta)*\sin(\phi) $$

? Please help! Note that $ a_x,\:a_y \:and \:a_{\theta} $ are unit vectors. Please help as soon as possible!
