On January 24th, 2008 Structure says:

A right triangle having sides 7cm,24cm and 25cm is revolved along the side of 25cm.Find the volume and the total surface area of the solid generated

AB=7,AC=24, BC=25

$$AD=\frac{7*24}{25},\:BD=\frac{49}{25};\:CD=\frac{576}{25}$$
$$Vol=\frac{\pi R^2(h_1+h_2)}{3}=\frac{\pi AD^2*BC}{3}$$
$$total area=\prR(G_1+G_2)=\pi AD*(AB+AC)=\pi \frac{7*24}{25}(7+24)$$
