Water is flowing at the rate of 5 km/hr through a pipe of radius 7cm.Find the time taken by it to fill a cylindrical tank of radius 14m and height 20m.

Vol cylindrical tank =$ \pi R^2 H=\pi 196*20=3920\pi $
Flow pipe/hr=

$$\pi r^2 *5000=\pi 49 *10^{-4}5000=\frac{49}{2}\pi$$

Time=

$$=\frac{3920\pi}{\frac{49}{2}\pi}=160hours$$

Or you can simply say
Time=

$$T={(\frac{1400}{7})}^2\frac{20}{5000} =200^2\frac{40}{10000}=160hours$$
