When 3 is added to the denominator and 2 is subtracted from the numerator a fraction becomes 1/4, when 6 is added to the numerator and denominator is multiplied by 3, it becomes2/3.Find the fraction.

On June 1st, 2008 Structure says:

$ f=\frac{x}{y} $
$ \frac{x-2}{y+3}=\frac{1}{4} $
$ \frac{x+6}{3y}=\frac{2}{3} $
$ 4x-8=y+3 $
$ x+6=2y $
$ 7x=28 $
$ x=4 $
$ y=5 $
$ f=\frac{x}{y}=\frac{4}{5} $
